Smart Shopping: Using Discounts and Points to Beat the 1,000 Yen Budget
I took on the 1,000 yen challenge at a drugstore, carefully weighing the price of snacks against the value of earned points.
Thanks to a 5% discount day, my total came to 966 yen, and I even scored extra points and free water, making it a complete victory!
I’ve now saved up over 1,000 points, so I’m thinking of doing my next shopping spree using only points!
1000円チャレンジ ドラックストア編
今回は、ドラックストアでの1000円チャレンジです。
今回悩んだのは、シルベーヌ（チョコケーキ）にするか、
チョコパイにするか、でした。
シルベーヌは、308円。
チョコパイは、258円。
ただし、シルベーヌには、ポイントが30ポイントつくのです。
計算上は、チョコパイに軍配が上がりますが・・・。
そして、合計金額は、1017円。オーバーか、と思いきや、
今日は、5％オフの日でした。
それで、966円。
ポイントも、もろもろ47ポイントついて、今日は勝利かな、という感じですね。
合計ポイントが1000円以上たまっているので、
次はポイントだけでの買い物もありかも、です。
